Rainbow Club is a concept created by arcenciel, the clubs are open to all young people who wish to meet up for sport, training, learn or just to play. Aiming to participate in the integration of disadvantaged young people into society, arcenciel is trying to support them by providing all the available tools which would help them develop their capabilities and underestimated potential as much as possible.
In 1997, arcenciel created the first rainbow club in Halba. Three other clubs have since emerged in Beirut, Damour, and Tanaïl, followed by the youth welcome center in Janah-Sabatieh.
Youth junction
Today, the youth finds itself faced with an often hostile society. Finding their place and their trac kat all levels is an increasingly difficult challenge. A point of reference was created withing each raindow club inorder to help young people to find a place in this world in accordance with their global and specific needs. These youth junctions are free spaces dedicated to young people between the ages of 12 and 35 years. The junctions put all the information necessary for young people at their disposal: academic itinerary, job searches, health, culture, organizations, personal research, etc… on the basis of the multiple services which arcenciel offers.
Permanencies
permanence on various topics provided by the arcenciel programs: employment, health, environment, himaya, etc.. to give young people an area to respond to their concerns, ask questions, inquire, etc..
Trainings and workshops
Various training and workshops in all centers according to the needs and demands of young beneficiaries
Sports and recreation
Circus, aerobics, yoga, football, basket ball, billiards, gym, swimming, street ball, tennis, ping pong, etc..
Library access is available - with a borrowing option) along with an internet connectivity for research. Music classes and film screenings followed by discussions are also held regularly.
These activities vary depending on the period, the demand, and the available space. Tournaments are organized regularly.
